Terms of Service

Galaxia Quest is a magazine and editorial website. The site publishes long-form articles, blog posts, and digital editions of the printed magazine. Some content is freely available; some content (for example full digital editions of an issue) requires you to be signed in.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

Accounts are created by signing in with Google. By using Google sign-in, you authorise us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL from Google. Our handling of that data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your Google account secure. Tell us promptly at dev@shownomore.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

When using Galaxia Quest you agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or republish editorial content (articles, images, magazine PDFs) outside the site, except for personal, non-commercial reading.
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, sign-in gates, or any technical access controls; share your account credentials; or scrape the site at a scale that interferes with normal use.
• Use the site to send unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful material — or to harass other readers or BAGC staff.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe the site's security beyond what is required for ordinary, lawful use.

All editorial content on Galaxia Quest — text, photographs, illustrations, design, the Galaxia Quest name and logo, and the layout of the website and the printed magazine — is owned by BAGC Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors, and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

When you create an account, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and read the content on the site for your own non-commercial use. We do not transfer ownership of any content to you.

Quoting short extracts with proper attribution (for reviews, news, or academic purposes) is permitted under fair-use / fair-dealing principles. For any reuse beyond that, write to us first.

At this time, creating an account is free. We may, in future, introduce paid subscriptions for some content. If we do, we will publish the pricing and additional terms before charging anyone, and we will tell existing users in advance.

We may, at our discretion, suspend or remove access to specific issues or articles — for example, when a licensor withdraws permission, or when an article is updated or retracted.

We may from time to time invite readers to submit comments, letters, or other content. By submitting anything to us, you grant BAGC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, edit, and publish your submission in connection with Galaxia Quest, and you confirm that the submission is your own work and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

The site may link to third-party websites, embedded videos, or other services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms.

You may close your Galaxia Quest account at any time by emailing dev@shownomore.com. Closure removes your account and personal data within 30 days, subject to the retention exceptions in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where possible we will give reasonable notice before doing so.

Galaxia Quest publishes journalism, opinion, and editorial commentary. Views expressed by individual writers are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of BAGC. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we do not warrant that the content is error-free or up-to-date at all times.

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, BAGC, its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Galaxia Quest. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, while the site is free to use, is zero).

You agree to indemnify BAGC against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site, including infringement of any third party's rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or with Galaxia Quest, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence say otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. If we make material changes, we will tell account holders by email or via a prominent notice on the site before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the site after that constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
